No, there is not a thin line between love and hate. There is, in fact, a Great Wall of China with armed sentries posted every twenty feet between love and hate.

It's funny and everything, but I can't believe we're not allowed to post.
ANGREH FUCKING FAIC, seeing as all the smileys are Asians...
When you're trapped in a situation when the truth sounds like a lie, and agreeing to the lie would simply be an act of social suicide?
In a simpler more childish like explanation, a little boy named Shan-Pu (yes, pronounced like shampoo) is believed to have kissed pretty little Aconny Ditioner. He vehemently denies it, but everyone thinks he's too embarrassed to admit it.
After thinking about it, he finally lies and claims 'Yeah, fine, I DID kiss her'', in hopes of ending the drama. But little Aconny Ditioner had AIDS. Now he's shunned for the rest of his life, for kissing an AIDS person. Which makes no sense, because AIDS does not transmit through kissing. But you get my point.
I'm caught in a similar (yet obviously different) situation. Keep denying it and stick with the truth? Or end the drama, and face the horrific consequences?
ARGH!
Yes. In the following dramatic representation, I'm a pretty about-to-get-burnt woman.
